With us you'll learn how to perform a variety of kicks at your own pace. From round houses to helicopter kicks, axe kicks to jump kicks, with time and effort we can teach you.

Techniques

A key part of Han Guk Mu Sool martial arts are the techniques and take-downs. Allowing you to escape from grabs and throws and turn your defensive position into a counter attack.

Working together

In all classes our members work together. Whether that's holding a kick pad for your partner or helping with their techniques. By working together we can create realistic, but safe, scenarios to practice in.

At Han Guk Mu Sool Carterton we enjoy practicing our strikes, kicks, forms, and techniques to strengthen our bodies. We work together to encourage one another in all we do.

About us

Our syllabus covers a wide variety of skills, including grappling techniques & take-downs, connected movements, body conditioning, martial arts knowledge, weapons and self defence scenarios.

We are part of the Han Guk Mu Sool group of martial arts clubs. That aims to bring together the shared experiences of Korean martial arts specialist

What is Han Guk Mu Sool?

Han Guk Mu Sool is a comprehensive martial arts system that encompasses various Korean disciplines, including Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kumdo. Our training programs are designed to develop physical fitness, mental discipline, and self defence skills.

We train together twice a week, with all ages welcome on Tuesday evening, and an adults and teens-only session on Wednesday nights

We offer great discounts for families training together. With plans for one class per week or two. Fees are taken monthly by direct debit.

* Children must be accompanied by an adult during all classes. If you as a parent/guardian do not wish to train alongside your child as a member, you would still be needed as a "helping hand" to support your child.
